The city of Roswell is a city full of southern charm with lots to offer locals and near-by travelers. The historical activities Roswell has to offer is fitting for the town because of its historical past. This city appears to attract young individuals, young couples and families ages from twenty’s to forty’s which is fitting for what the city has to offer, night life and family fun events. This destination is perfect for a mini get-away vacation. This destination would be perfect for a weekend day trip. This is the kind of place near-by tourists can drive too and spend a weekend at that is outside their city limits or town limits to explore what other city has to offer that is outside of their normal routine. This is connected because potential tourists want to feel like they are on vacation. A potential tourist wants to be entertained and therefore, young couples, or young singles may want to explore what another town has to offer because it is assumed that the younger generation enjoys â€Å"attending concerts, sightseeing, nightclubs, bars, eating out and coffee shops† (Smith et al., 5). However, in regards to families, it is assumed that they love â€Å"festivals and events that are friendly so the whole family can enjoy† (Smith et al., 5) and create new memories together. Additionally, It is also assumed that tourists travel for pleasure, â€Å"that cannot be found within the life-space and how this makes traveling worthwhile† (Cohen, 93). This is connected to tourists because, it is assumed that tourists travel to get-away from the stressors of their own lives, perhaps have a mini-break away from work or from the chaos within their own lives.
